A selection of tins from my travels; The rusted Nectar Tea Caddy and 1960′s Milo tin come from Bacash’s in Corryong and the pretty blue bird tin was unearthed in little town just outside of Paris.
Notes
No food this week, just a celebration of delicious looking vintage tins!
I am currently sitting, (still covered in dust, paint and timber filler) surrounded by boxes on the floor of our newly nipped, tucked and polished homestead.
Whilst I should be getting stuck into unpacking kitchen pots and pans, battling with mattresses up staircases or shuffling all the furniture into place, I am doing none of this stuff. I am plotting where my collection of beloved tins will be displayed around the home.
Priorities Alexandra, priorities.
Dear Al, They are simply gorgeous! Can’t wait to see photos of your new home….. lots would be lovely xoxox

will post some as soon as we are unpacked…maybe next year at the rate I am going, such a slow, easily distracted unpacker!
Very pretty. I love that painting.
Thanks for the lovely compliments x
Oh well, I will just have to make the Simplicity Chocolate Cake again! My family loved it, thanks for sharing a fantastic, easy recipe. Good luck finding a special place for those lovely tins.
Great to hear good feedback on the recipes, thanks Tricia!
Congratulations Al on your first addition. Love Ginny
Thanks Ginny, slight hick-up today, the bed does not fit up the stairs!
